For several decades, Safram<\/a> has among other things been specializing <\/strong>in the transport of fragrances and flavours. The transport of these products is booming, both at European and international level, and Safram is constantly seeking to adapt its offers to its customers’ requirements. Enhanced safety<\/strong> during transport, warehouses compliant<\/strong> with the storage of regulated materials and the teams’ full awareness of the new standards in force .<\/p>\n

The global flavours and fragrances market has opened up considerably in recent years. Quick and appropriate responses<\/strong> were required to deal with this significant change. Safram thus opened new lines in Europe to meet its customers\u2019 requirements. The Eastern European and Turkish markets have grown considerably.<\/p>\n

Safram therefore utilizes its experience<\/strong> and professionalism<\/strong> to manage these flows, while meeting lead-times and complying with many standards inherent in the transport of fragrances.<\/p>\n

The transport of flavours and fragrances revolves around a very special operation focused on the safety<\/strong> of the teams in contact with the goods and compliance with European and Swiss directives relating to the transport and storage of hazardous materials. A large number of fragrances and flavours are categorized as hazardous due to their flammability among other things. Loading operations are therefore carried out safely by teams who have received risk training. Furthermore, Safram undertakes to ensure that all its partners are authorized to handle these sensitive products. Continuous training<\/strong> is provided for all the employees involved in handling goods. Several independent parties are therefore invited to assess the teams’ skills.<\/p>\n
