The strength of a network serving customers
September 6, 2016To ensure quality services across the whole transportation network and offer a competitive logistics service, SAFRAM meets the requirements of the most demanding certifications.
Synonymous with performance, safety or respect for the environment, the certifications and labels, which our company SAFRAM complies with, are a mark of confidence for our customers. They guarantee optimum traceability of goods at each stage of the journey. Whether it is organically farmed products, foodstuffs or hazardous products, our European transportation company is recognized for its reliability.
Each certification has its specificity
The Dekra certification to which we adhere, ensures the safety and social responsibility of our services. The ISO 39001 standard issued by this organization certifies our road safety compliance: proper driver behaviour, speed or condition of the vehicle to reduce the risk of breakdowns or accidents. The AB label allows us to support our customers in diversifying their production and converting, for example, to organic farming. It guarantees that the labelled goods or those in the process of being labelled, which we carry, are protected from any contact with inputs excluded from AB specifications. Similarly, when it comes to managing risks relating to food safety, the HACCP system helps identify hazards and monitor them throughout the supply chain. It meets the strict requirements of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) established by the World Health Organization and the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture. Sedex ensures our customers of our good ethical and responsible practices through the SMETA framework. It defines the limits of business integrity, respect for labour regulations, the health and safety of employees. Finally, we are certified by the AFAQ, the leader in management systems. It covers the fields of quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), food industry (ISO 22000), energy (ISO 50001) …
AEO: a simplification of customs procedures
Thanks to its status as an AEO–approved economic operator, SAFRAM has access to the customs simplifications certificate providing proof of the reliability of its supply chain and compliance with customs regulations. This allows personalized processing for control purposes. The procedures are carried out as follows: a biometric access control and 3 levels of security barriers.
Which ones? Perimeter control (motion detection cameras), first of all, it also allows the fleet of parked vehicles to be protected. Then the buildings are monitored by anti-intrusion and video-surveillance equipment connected to a P3-approved remote surveillance system. Finally, the work and storage areas are secured with restricted access for flows of sensitive goods.
This will all ensure the safety of your goods, whatever their nature and destination!
