Even if the formerly ripe old age of 50 does not have the same significance for everyone today that it had half a century ago, 50 years in business are nevertheless reason enough for a company in the prime of its life to celebrate worthily.

The gong for the commemoration of the anniversary was sounded at Safram’s headquarters in Satigny, near Geneva (Switzerland), on 5 June. Guests from Paris, Düsseldorf, Basel, Milan, Bordeaux, Grasse and Lyon took the opportunity to celebrate with Safram. More than 300 customers, agents, suppliers and service providers came together on the occasion of the festivities, which started at 4 p.m. and continued well into the night. The relaxed atmosphere provided the basis for pleasant conversations and an appreciation of the many enjoyable points on the programme, including musical interludes and a tombola. A tempest that did not fail to electrify guests and employees alike represented the highlight!
